My bad for not knowing what 50 quart looks like, but they were a bit small for moving. They did turn out to be good for things in the kitchen and books- things that are small, dense, heavy. My only complaint is that the lids themselves to not seal and the handles are required to lock the lid into place. They are also flimsy when not locked into place- there is a small nub of plastic that keeps the handle attached to the bin and two broke immediately which means I cannot secure the lids on those bins.
