I purchased this hamper for my daughter's clothes/room. I leave it in the closet, since it's not super attractive like other hampers, this is mostly a utilitarian product. The main reason for purchasing it was so I could hold my new baby in one arm while able to schlep a laundry basket up and down the stairs. This product allows me to do just that. I can get the laundry done and cart baby around with me as I do it. Now that I think about it, I really wish I had one in every room... However, the only draw back is that the hook & lock mechanism is hard to use, I find myself taking more than a few seconds trying to get it to close. And, is not very strong, if I have the hamper really full, it has completely un-clipped itself (as in, the blue hook thing came off the handle and I had to pop it back on.) Other than that, it's a pretty useful hamper and if I need anymore hampers in the house, I will buy another one or one similar to it.
